End user licence agreement

A plain-language licence for the Qevoxyl desktop application. Installing or using the software means you accept these terms.
Licence granted
You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Qevoxyl on computers you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes.
Restrictions
You may not redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense the application, remove branding from the software itself, or reverse engineer it except where local law permits.
Your content
Recordings, transcripts, and exports you create remain yours. Because processing is local, you are responsible for holding the rights to the audio you transcribe.
Third-party components
Qevoxyl bundles open-source components including Whisper models and FFmpeg, each under its own licence. Those licences continue to govern their components.
Warranty and liability
The application is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Transcription accuracy varies with audio quality, language, and model size; verify output before relying on it. Liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.
Term
The licence continues until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach these terms; on termination you must stop using and remove the application.
